Now that my ORD is next, next Monday, I really feel my NS has come full circle. Sentimental as I am, I felt quite sad that I have to part with what used to take up 5 days of my week, but I really can't wait to leave - conflicting feelings isn't it? I went down memory lane today and visited my camp's heritage room, where my first sai kang still hangs proud - the 2005 National Day Parade moblie column display. My bunk also had an ORD steamboat dinner tonite. As we sat there eating around the round table, we felt like family. We reminisced about the past, our first day shifting in to the bunk and cleaning the mess. I felt almost like crying. However, we were like one family that is falling apart. Guan Zheng has started clearing his leave, Tian Ping and I will be civilians in 11 days, while Jeremiah won't be for another 9 years or so.

Whoas... There are just so many birthdays in October! For Kok's birthday, we went to Vivo City on the 24th and spent nearly the entire day at Earle Swensens . Not that we wanted to take advantage of the salad buffet, but because we ate earlier, left the diner and accompanied the ladies there later for their lunch.. Rather pai seh lah... Queue twice under the pseudonym 'Wilson' - supposed to be Widyson but the manager heard Wilson.. haha..
