In Wheelock Place
While walking back to the MRT station from Wheelock Place, this team of 4 RJC students stopped us on our tracks. The boy who spoke to us was rather polite, so Andy and I obliged to answer their question; besides, the quartet blocked our entire path! Well, I was embarrassed that I didn't know what 'Romancing Singapore' is, but let's just say that I don't fall within the target audience of the campaign. (rationalisation... haha) I seriously wonder why the RJCian said that we look like the "correct" age.
Anyway, we accomplished our mission and bought the hush-hush item that we were seeking for and I was entertained for another day..
Random Thoughts
Duang-ing is becoming better now, compared to last week or a few weeks back. That's because most of my JC friends have started clearing their off and leave and we can all chill together, rather than me confining myself most of the time or hanging around in camp, only to find out that I am more miserable than at home. I have rested for 6 weeks and I have another 2 weeks, during which I would try to find a job somewhere, somehow, as an accounts assistant and get my pink ic on 6th November. Until school starts, I should be working, giving tuition part time and learning driving.
I can't wait to start school. That's a really strange desire, especially if its from me. You see, from young, I hated school and didn't want to go to school. In JC, as with most councillors and union members, I skipped lectures like nobody's business. However, I've suffered almost 2 years while waiting to study and I have to wait another 7 months! As with human nature, when we wait, we just wish we could fast forward.. Besides, there's so much I want to do in Uni and I just wish I could start right away.. Also I'm planning to room with Chee Yuen in hall, so that should be quite fun. And I want to decorate my room! haha.. I'd have to work with limited space though, but it's gonna be fun!! haha...
